NEW VOICES OF FREEDOM

ROCKSPEL? How do you describe it? A vibrant, raucous collision of rock, gospel. R&B. Jazz, Reggae and Hip-Hop as introduced to the world by the internationally renowned choir New Voices of Freedom (NVOF), "The #1 Rock & Roll Choir in the World".

NVOF, directed and conducted by gold/platinum award winning pianist, conductor, producer Dennis Bell, was first heard doing a choir version of their classic "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by the super band U2. The superstar rock band U2 subsequently invited the group to perform their magic at their "Rattle & Hum" celebration tour at Madison Square Garden. The rest of that magical meeting is seen and heard in the movie "U2, Rattle & Hum. The Madison Square Garden meeting was so successful, U2's Bono asked the group to sing another one of their songs "The Sweetest Thing" for the Bill Murray movie "Scrooged". From then on NVOF set out on their own adventures, singing in many venues some of which had never seen the likes of a choir before.  The choir performed at clubs like The China Club, Wetlands, Tramps, The Lonestar Cafe and Delta 88 bringing their unique style and message to a variety of audiences. Appearing in commercials with, Aretha Franklin, videos with Sean Lennon and Lenny Kravitz ( "Give Peace A Chance"). NVOF also appeared in several TV public service announcements including the long-running Boys Town USA. The CD presents New Voices' unique brand of music — ROCKSPEL.

SIR NUKEEM

Brooklyn-born rapper, Sir Nukeem, has been called "The King of Rasta-Rican Hip-Hop". In his debut album, Sir Nukeem combines the street sound of NYC hip-hop with the patois of the Jamaican DJ, adding a touch of Spanish into a mix that can only be classified as new and different.

The boomin' trax combine the rhythms of Jamaica, beats from the streets of NYC, and the classic sound of the Hispanic Caribbean.

Rasta-Rican Hip-Hop is an original, fresh new direction for the hip-hop nation. The lyrics are challenging, positive and engrossing as Sir Nukeem easily shifts from Patois to English to Spanish. Produced by Dennis Bell, the gold/ platinum award winning producer of Doug E. Fresh & Slick Rick's hip-hop classics "The Show" and "La-Di-Da-Di".

PANTHEON

The band ... in their own words
mon (Lead Vocals, Bass)
"Pantheon" is a power house of music from the temple of the Gods, with a sexy and scary word ensemble.

Dark Rose (Lead Vocals)
"Pantheon" is literally a place where I let my hair down. I can dress scandalous, and be encouraged to do so. I can get crazy, and be praised for it. "Pantheon" is how every day life should be energetic, free spirited, and careless!

Big Al (Lead Guitar)
"Pantheon" is an outlet for me to get my guitar groove on. No one solos in today's music anymore. "Pantheon" is the best way for me to release my anger by making a lot of noise and pissing a few people off in the process!

Pyro (Keyboards, Turntables, Drums)
Pantheon is a rush of blood to head!  This is a high like no other, just being there on stage whether it's for one person or a million, as long as I'm on stage with "Pantheon" I'm happy.
